          ABOUT THE POSITION Plans, directs, and supervises all business, financial, and operational services of the Glendale Unified School District (District) and coordinates these services with the personnel and instructional programs and services of the District. ABOUT THE DISTRICT The District is the third largest school district in Los Angeles County, governed by five trustees that represent separate areas. The District currently serves approximately 25,000 students from preschool through 12th grade. The District boundaries encompass students from Glendale, La Crescenta-Montrose, and portions of La Canada Flintridge. The District has shown modest enrollment growth over the last two fiscal years. The district is comprised of 21 elementary schools, 5 middle schools, and 5 high schools, with approximately 25,713 students enrolled. Its General Fund budget is $387 million, and it is also supported by a bond.
