We are at an exciting crossroads, moving boldly toward a future where competency-based education replaces one-size-fits-all learning. Communication – We prioritize open, respectful, and honest dialogue. Innovation – We seek creative solutions to improve learning and engagement. Resilience – We approach challenges with grit and a growth mindset?. Guiding Principles for Learning We believe that: Learning is learner-centered and personalized. Belonging fosters growth—students learn best when they feel safe and seen. Equity means access—all learners deserve support tailored to their needs. Growth comes through effort, not perfection. Relevance drives engagement—learning should be joyful, authentic, and connected to life?. This commitment doesn’t stop with students. We extend these beliefs to every employee, creating a workplace where innovation, development, and excellence are supported every step of the way. Equity and Inclusion at the Core Eureka City Schools is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We believe that a diverse staff helps all learners thrive.
