Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the program director, provide interpretation (verbal language) of difficult technical concepts during meetings between school staff, agencies, service provides, and parents; provide translation (written language) services of complex and often technical material from English to a second language and from a second language to English; perform various clerical functions related to translation services. Fluent in Mixteco/English/Spanish.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience as required by the “Every Student Succeeds Act 2015”: - High school diploma or equivalent AND one of the following: -Any combination of post-secondary education, training and experience equal to four years and which demonstrates an ability to perform the duties and requirements of the position OR -A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a major emphasis in a designated non-English language supplemented by coursework

- Proof of HS Graduation (or GED NOTE: High School /GED Transcripts are acceptable)
- Resume (Must include your most recent experience - photos are not acceptable)

- Salary Placement: External candidates cannot place past step D. Internal candidates will be placed based on CSEA Article VIII (8) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Benefits: This position includes a full benefit package of Medical, Dental, and Vision for employees and eligible dependents.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8 hours with 1 hour lunch).
