Welcome to the Mount Pleasant School District! We are a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade district with three Elementary Schools, one Middle School, and one Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade Dependent Charter School. Nestled in the East Foothills of San Jose, we prepare approximately 1,500 students for high school, college, and careers. Job Summary
Under the direction and supervision of the Superintendent and/ or Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, this position provides various technical services and support activities related to the District’s Information Technology Department. The Data Technician is responsible for the input and data management of accurate information related to the District’s information system including but not limited to Power School. The Data Technician implements Board and District policies, legal guidelines, department procedures and makes decisions consistent with departmental plans, practices and directives; establishes and maintains contact with personnel at schools, school districts, and other agencies as appropriate; maintains confidentiality regarding all matters of the department and the district information system.

- Two years of college or on the job experience, with emphasis on technology/computer systems is recommended - Valid California driver's license - TB test taken within past 4 years - Criminal Justice/Fingerprint Clearance
