Education and/or Experience: * Minimum High School diploma or GED; 4 years experience in quantity food preparation and serving; * and at least 2 years experience in a supervisory position. * B.A. / B.S. Degree or above in dietetics, institutional food services, culinary arts, or restaurant management will be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience in quantity food preparation. Must possess: A valid Food Safety or Food Protection Manager Certification accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) maintained throughout employment with the LEA. Examples of accredited food protection manager certifications include: * ServSafe Food Protection Manager; * State Food Safety Manager (FSM); * Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP); * Certified Professional – Food Safety (CP-FS); * Food Protection Manager (FPM) Additional requirements: * A valid California Driver’s License * A driving record insurable under the LEA’s insurance company’s standards * Must be insurable at standard rates by District’s insurance carrier and maintain such insurability during the course of employment.

Competency test will be administered to qualified applicants. Must upload required attachments named exactly as stated (i.e., Letter of Recommendation) or you will not be considered for this position.

      The Nutrition Services Field Supervisor will plan, organize, supervise, and evaluate training for new staff in cafeteria operations, safety/sanitation, customer service, and related duties. Responsibilities include evaluating new employees' progress, providing orientation, and assisting in interviews. Essential Duties include: * Oversee operations at multiple sites * Supervise site staff (nutrition assistants & food service workers) * Manage timeclock edits and approvals * Handle absences and coverage * Conduct performance evaluations * Visit schools to inspect operations, provide assistance, and recommend improvements. * Review the job description for a full list of duties and responsibilities. Notes: * Springs Charter Schools adheres to all California Department of Public Health mandates to ensure in-person instruction at campuses and administrative operations are conducted in a safe manner consistent with state and local public health guidance. * Springs Charter Schools has the sole discretion to close this job posting at any time.
