The Encinitas Union School District is seeking a Site Program Support Teacher to join the team at Ocean Knoll Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year. This position requires the knowledge and ability to support in person instruction for students in grade levels K through 6 who need additional support in the area of English Language Development and literacy. This position will specifically collaborate with the site ELD ToSA and classroom teachers to:
- provide on-going, consistent instructional support in English Language Development to English Learners at the newcomer level
- provide literacy instruction at appropriate levels and pacing for English Learners at the newcomer level
- communicate goals and progress
The work schedule is 8:00am to 10:00am Monday through Thursday during the school year; 8 hours per week total.
This position is for the 2024-2025 school year 8/19/2024 through 5/29/2025; however, depending on funding, may continue for additional years. No Health and Welfare benefits offered.

EUSD is located in North San Diego County along the coast. It serves nine (9) Kindergarten through sixth grade schools, and one (1) pre-school for students with special needs.
