The Encinitas Union School District is seeking a Site Program Support Teacher to join the team at Ocean Knoll Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year. This position requires the knowledge and ability to support in person instruction for students in grade levels K through 6 who need additional support in the area of English Language Development and literacy. This position will specifically collaborate with the site ELD ToSA and classroom teachers to: - provide on-going, consistent instructional support in English Language Development to English Learners at the newcomer level - provide literacy instruction at appropriate levels and pacing for English Learners at the newcomer level - communicate goals and progress The work schedule is 8:00am to 10:00am Monday through Thursday during the school year; 8 hours per week total. This position is for the 2024-2025 school year 8/19/2024 through 5/29/2025; however, depending on funding, may continue for additional years. No Health and Welfare benefits offered. It serves nine (9) Kindergarten through sixth grade schools, and one (1) pre-school for students with special needs.
