San Luis Coastal USD is searching for a dynamic instructional leader for Monarch Grove Elementary. The ideal candidate will have an elementary instructional background, site and/or district leadership experience as an assistant principal of instructional coach (TOSA), understand current instructional trends and best practices for educational leadership, and be bilingual (Spanish). The ideal candidate will be able to implement SLCUSD initiatives and support the programs in place at the site, while utilizing data and reciprocal accountability to ensure continued growth in all expected student outcomes. A track record of building and maintaining excellent relationships with site and district staff, families, the community and students is critical.

Valid California Administrative Services credential or Certificate of Eligibility. Applicants with out-of-state credentials will be considered but must meet California certification requirements before start date. Applicants enrolled in an administrative credential program will only be considered if qualified for a certificate of eligibility prior to start date.

  • Credential Copy (Detailed version, showing all teaching and administrative authorizations)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three (3) within the past 18 months. One from your current supervisor)
  • Resume
