Job Summary
The Fire Science/First Responder CTE Teacher assumes responsibility for guiding students towards entry-level employment in Fire Science-First Responder careers. Through instruction, training, and career preparation, the teacher equips students with fundamental skills and knowledge required for roles in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and firefighting. The focus lies in cultivating a comprehensive understanding of fire safety principles, emergency medical services, and disaster assistance protocols. The Fire Science/First Responder teacher will teach a series of courses in the Emergency Response Pathway within the Public Services Industry Sector.

Retired Firefighter and/or First Responder is highly desirable. The willingness to pursue a Career Technical Education Credential in Public Services.
