      Addendum - Program Specialist Position, Attendance and Enrollment The duties of the Program Specialist leading Attendance and Enrollment consists of attendance messaging for EGUSD, coordinating and facilitating attendance training for administrators, teachers, and front office staff, and providing professional development to classified and certificated staff on connecting with families to improve student attendance. They will also coordinate and facilitate focused attendance supports, Tier 1 interventions to encourage attendance for all students, Tier 2 interventions to support students for whom tier 1 interventions are not working, and Tier 3 interventions to include SARB meetings and truancy court. This position is responsible for enrollment (online and in-person) for EGUSD and will support with TalkingPoints for all district employees, collaborate with TalkingPoints specialist regarding implementation in EGUSD, and coordinate and facilitate TalkingPoints training for administrators, teachers, and front office staff. Additionally, the position will supervise a program assistant and five Regional Attendance Improvement Technicians (RAITs), as well as monitor budget and expenditures according to program requirements.
