MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO APPLY: Education • High School Diploma or Equivalent. College degree from an accredited college or university preferred, will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of Associate of Arts (AA) Degree or Bachelor’s Degree. Experience • Experience with students K through 8 • Experience working with special needs children is desirable. Licenses/Certificates/Training/Other Requirements: • Successful completion of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements or federal/state mandated requirements • Possession of or willingness and ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and Universal Precautions. Required Documents: Proof of High School Graduation: Diploma or Equivalent (transcripts in lieu of certification/diploma ok) • Letters of Recommendation: Two letters, signed and dated within the last two years (desired). • BA/BS, a AA/AS or have 48 college units (transcripts in lieu of degree ok) or Successfully pass the District's Local Assessment pursuant to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). Paraprofessional II exam is required, unless you have previously passed the test within the last 2 years (24 months) with our District, verification must be attached to your application Our District requires a complete application and that all materials to be considered as part of your application packet be submitted online with your application.
