Under the general direction of the department director, assists in the development and implementation of professional development programs consistent with grant requirements and meeting the needs of regional quality improvement of early learning programs. This position is funded by grants from the California Department of Education and First 5 CA and is subject to funds availability. Please review job description in the tab below for further details.

Job Requirements – Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of three years conducting professional development training and workshops within the early childhood education field. - Education: minimum of a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education/child development or Related Field, master’s degree preferred. Current or previous certification in CLASS© 2008 or CLASS© 2nd Edition or obtain and maintain certification within 3 months of employment as a condition of employment.

  • Certification (Current or previous certification in CLASS© 2008 or CLASS© 2nd Edition or obtain and maintain certification within 3 months of employment as a condition of employment.)
  • Copy of Transcript
  • Letter of Introduction
