Under the direction of the District Business Manager & Superintendent, perform a variety of complex specialized duties related to the analysis and data input of school district payroll transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with department processes and state/federal laws and regulations, provide assistance with payroll functions as needed and advise secretaries and staff on payroll documents.

Education: *High school diploma or equivalent; *Coursework in accounting, computer skills, word processing and spreadsheets; *Associate Degree; *Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience: *Two (2) years of experience performing responsible payroll and benefits tasks in a school district/business environment or similar assignment; School business/budget experience desired; *Accuracy with skilled accounting tasks; *Accuracy with local and state financial reporting systems; *Accuracy with legal and procedural requirements.
