Job Summary
Under general direction, to plan, organize and direct the operation of the consortium transportation program; to supervise all departmental personnel; to coordinate routing and driver assignment; to plan for long-term needs; develop and manage transportation budget; to serve as departmental liaison to the East County Transportation Consortium; and to do related work as required

Licenses and Certifications: Valid California Class B commercial driver’s license with passenger and air brake endorsements. Valid and appropriate California School Bus Driver Instructor’s Certificate. Valid First Aid and CPR Certification issued by an authorized agency. Experience: Five years of experience in transportation work preferred, including two years of supervisory experience, and two years of service in a functional component of the departments, such as: bus driver, auto mechanic, dispatcher, bus driver trainer, or related management/supervisory experience.
