Job Summary

GENERAL INFORMATION: The Fiscal Operations Coordinator works directly under the supervision of the Senior Program Manager of Mental Health and Professional Learning to support fiscal management of grant funds and school-based mental health billing. The Coordinator ensures funding is appropriately allocated and tracked for auditing and reporting purposes, while communicating with administrators overseeing grant projects to maintain programs and services. The Coordinator will also work directly with the Senior Program Manager on budget development to ensure access to funding for professional development and complete additional fiscal management duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and at least three years administrative experience in fiscal management.

• Working knowledge of fiscal policies and operations as they pertain to the CA public education system.

• Working knowledge of federal grant fiscal guidelines to ensure Uniform Guidance.

• Working knowledge of school-based mental health billing to support implementation.

• Prior experience with a school accounting system, attendance reporting software, and digital contracts.

• The ability to write and present findings and suggest appropriate recommendations in written or oral form.

• Ability to perform business math, analyze budgetary data and make accurate projections, including excellent skills with Microsoft Excel and Word, Adobe products, and information technology.

• Strong knowledge of computers and word processing, spreadsheets, database, email, Internet, and tele/videoconferencing.

• Ability to travel within the state as necessary.

• Valid California Driver License.
