Under the general supervision of the Athletic Department (AD and VP of Athletics), the Baseball Program Head Coach is responsible for building and organizing the 3-level baseball program at BHS, including building their staff (assistants and sub-varsity) and managing team facilities, gear, and finances, to go with the everyday operation of their respective teams, including games (scheduling, prep, management), practices, and other activities. The season runs from early February to Mid-May and can go later if the varsity team makes the post-season and will include pre-season and off-season responsibilities, including "open field" and weight training as well as preparation for the season, such as working with the athletic department to restock inventory and prepare the field for the first games.
