Job Summary

The Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), under the direct supervision of the Director of Student Services and the general supervision of a California licensed and credentialed Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP), provides direct speech and language therapy services to students and performs a variety of instructional activities and support activities for students with severe disabilities in classroom at various school site locations. Work schedule is 6 hours per day during the school year - hours are 7:45 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. or 8:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. depending on school site.

Requirements / Qualifications

*Completed EDJOIN application and resume *Include AA degree and a certificate of completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program or BA degree -Speech and Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Prior to employment: DOJ/FBI background check TB test/assessment
