The Foundation for Hispanic Education (TFHE) was established in 1981 as a product of the late Dr. B. Roberto Cruz’s vision of providing quality education and support for all underserved learners, with a focus on Latino students. With 106 committed staff members, TFHE now serves over 1,050 students from the community neighborhoods of Mayfair, Mt. Pleasant, Sylvandale, Santee, and Alum Rock in East San Jose. TFHE operates three charter high schools.

Job Summary
The Mental Health Therapist provides mental health services, including counseling, screening and assessment, individual and group counseling, collaboration with families, and working with/referral to outside agencies as appropriate. Provides assistance with program planning, assessment, feedback, student supervision, mentoring, record keeping, and writing reports. The Mental Health Therapist influences the development of a safe, successful learning environment and positive school culture by partnering with teachers, administrators, and school staff.
