The Baldwin Park Unified School District is seeking a Program Administrator in the Special Education Department. Duties include the following: Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Special Education, the Program Administrator provides assistance in coordinating and managing all aspects of the special education programs at multiple school sites. The Program Administrator for Special Education will support the school site principals in aspects of design, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of special education programs on district campuses for students ranging in levels mild/moderate to moderate/severe. REQUIREMENTS -A Master’s Degree in education or a closely related field from an institution of higher learning accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation -Three or more years of significant, directly related, and progressive school experience in the field of special education -Possess an Administrative Services Credential authorizing service as principal, TK-12 -Possess and maintain a valid Teaching Credential or PPS Credential, preferably in special education (Attach all credentials to application) The following MUST be submitted with the application: -Ed-Join Employment Application -A cover letter addressed to Human Resources with the following: •Explain the relevance of your career history and goals to the requirements of this position. •Why do you want this position? •What makes you a great fit for this position? -A detailed resume outlining your qualifications for this position. -Three signed letters of professional references (within one year), which can attest to your technical and managerial competence.
