YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDER WITHOUT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS: 1. CTE Credential in the area of Building and Construction Trades, or qualify for this credential based on three (3) years of full-time (paid or unpaid) industry experience (or a combination of applicable college credits and industry experience), as well as a high school diploma. Specific credential information may be found here: https://www.lacoe.edu/Curriculum-Instruction/Career-Technical-Education/CTE-Credentials. The associated costs for the preliminary CTC credential will be at the employee’s expense. 2. English Learner Compliance: If you don't have an English Learner Authorization you will be required to apply for an emergency/waiver permit with the CTC as a condition of employment. During the first year of employment, you will need to earn the English Learner Authorization certificate by coursework, exam, or a combination of coursework and exam. The associated costs for the emergency permit and coursework/exams will be at the employee’s expense. Below are links to the CTC website for additional information and requirements.
