The Perris Union High School District is currently establishing an eligibility pool in order to fill vacancies for various Paraeducator positions throughout our school district. As positions become available, we will begin recruiting from this list. 8 hour positions will require the aide to ride the bus with the student. Education: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma Have one of the following: An associates or higher college degree; or The equivalent of 60 semester or 90 quarter units of college credit; or Pass the Perris Union High School District proficiency examination Completion of District mandated training within one year of date of employment (Provided at the time of hire) Course work in child growth and development, special education, or closely related field desirable *Please note: Perris Union High School District proficiency examination is currently being waived. Experience: Experience working with students requiring a specialized learning environment is desirable
