Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal, instruct assigned students in accordance with EWCSD policies and procedures; provide an educational learning program to English and Spanish speaking students using standards-based instruction in both languages to ensure that all students are able to achieve high academic standards, as well as become bilingual, bi-literate, and bicultural citizens; guide students in learning subject matter and skills in compliance with identified standards of achievement; establish good relationships with students, parents, and other staff members, and conduct other related duties as directed.

Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with EL Authorization BCLAD-Spanish Experience Desirable

The East Whittier City School District provides educational opportunities (transitional kindergarten through eighth grade, including special education) for approximately 8,600 children. The District employs approximately 1,075 teachers, administrators and support staff. We have 13 schools which operate on a traditional school year schedule.
