Beginning in the fall of 2024, under the direction of the High School Director, provide support to students in grades 9-12 to increase academic achievement. In coordination with Personalized Learning Teachers and parents, develop systems for supporting students with work completion, organization, planning, self-advocacy, and study skills. Candidates will be expected to record and report attendance for students attending “The Zone” for support time, engage students and PLTs in creating student support plans for their assigned support time, supervise, monitor, and document individual student progress for each support session, communicate regularly with PLTs and parents about student goals, progress, and use of time in The Zone, and review data on academic referrals and other communication tools to help identify struggling students. The schedule for this position will be Monday and Thursday 9am-4pm, approximately 26 hours per week. This position offers CalPERS retirement, and a pro-rated contribution toward medical, dental, and vision benefits.
