Job Summary

Job Summary

The College Success Counselor works to improve the a-g course completion pathway for students across all IEM charter schools. The incumbent will work closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to develop a CSU / UC Pathways Program at IEM charter schools. The incumbent will work closely with students, ESs, and parents to help support and guide the cohort of students towards achieving their goal of attending college upon graduation. The incumbent is expected to remain calm under pressure, work cooperatively with team members and others to provide the highest level of service possible and work in accordance with the Guiding Principles of the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: >Education: Bachelor's degree >Credentials/Certifications: Current Pupil Personnel Services Credential >Experience: No previous school counseling work experience is required, but prior work experience in school counseling is recommended. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: >Letter of Interest >Current resume >Two (2) Letters of Recommendation >Unofficial copies of credentials, certifications, and/or transcripts reflecting the position requirements.
