The Baldwin Park Unified School District is recruiting for a Cheer Varsity Coach at Baldwin Park High School. The Cheer Varsity coach is to provide students with the philosophy and styles, communication techniques, and fundamental cheer and dance techniques. Fall/Winter (Sideline and Traditional) August-January & Spring CIF (Competitive Sports Cheer) February-June QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: (a) Three (3) years of successful relevant experience as a coach, parent, or volunteer (b) Knowledge of National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and CIF Regulations (c) Valid CPR - FA Certificate and NFHS Certificates Certificates can be obtained at https://nfhslearn.com/

This Cheer coaching stipend position is for the 2024 - 2025 school year and all coaches will be evaluated at the end of each athletic year. Priority consideration will be given to internal candidates (District employees); however, external candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Exempt Position, with no benefits. The following documents must be submitted for interview consideration.

  • Certification (NFHS/CIF (1.AACCA Spirit Safety 2.Concussion 3.Sudden Cardiac Arrest 4. Heat Illness Prevention)
