Under the direction of a school administrator, to provide DIS adapted physical education instruction for special education students in severely handicapped programs, as well as for district students in regular education who require adapted physical education DIS service.

1. Must hold a credential authorizing service as a teacher of physical education with authorization in adapted education. 2. Must possess knowledge of recent instructional trends related to adapted physical education.
