Under administrative direction, plans, organizes, and oversees the work of assigned staff involved in the development of new enterprise business application systems; manages the maintenance and implementation of updates of enterprise wide technology solutions; and oversees the planning, development, maintenance, integration, and enhancement of other software applications.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification, from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Experience: Five years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise business and financial software applications; and providing technical support for multi-tier web-based application servers and large-scale databases (50+ servers, 1,000+ users), including three years managing technical programming staff. Additional Requirements: A valid California driver’s license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites is required. Hybrid remote schedules may be available. To ensure the health and safety of its staff, LACOE may require employees to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
