OPENING DETAILS: - Monday - Friday, 5 hours per day (.6250) - Work hours: 6:45 am - 12:15 pm (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch) - Salary Range 42 Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, operate a District vehicle to pick up and deliver food, supplies and meals to district preparation and serving kitchens in a timely and efficient manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above and one year of experience driving a private or commercial delivery vehicle. PLEASE LIST ANY AND ALL EXPERIENCE ON APPLICATION AND/OR RESUME. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid driver license required and a safe driving record. COPY OF DRIVER'S LICENSE MUST BE INCLUDED WITH APPLICATION

KNOWLEDGE OF: Kitchen equipment and supplies used in schools. Health and safety regulations. Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy. Proper methods of delivery and storage of equipment, materials and supplies. Proper loading of trucks. Safe driving techniques. Preventive maintenance and minor servicing of vehicles. ABILITY TO: Communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing. Safely operate a District vehicle. Understand and follow oral and written communication skills. Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds using safe and proper methods and/or equipment. Move objects weighing over 50 pounds using safe and proper methods and/or equipment. Verify quantities for accurate count. Add, subtract and make change correctly. Work cooperatively and effectively with others. Meet schedule and timelines. Learn and remember locations and routes. Learn and remember sanitation and safety practices related to food service.
