Job Summary
The MTSS Specialist Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) will work at one or more school sites to implement MTSS. Working closely with the principals, assistant principals, site leadership teams, teachers, students, and parents, the MTSS Specialist will coordinate the work of the school site in implementing MTSS so that all students have the supports they need to be successful. This includes direct instruction and intervention, model lessons, and professional development on the implementation of effective intervention strategies and Tier 1 through Tier 3 interventions in and out of the classroom.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possession of a valid California Multiple Subject credential with Cross Cultural Language and Academic Development (CLAD or BCLAD) credential, English Learner authorization or equivalent.
