Core instruction includes comprehensive traditional academic subjects extended to include character development, digital literacy, art, music, hands-on science, and physical education. All schools offer embedded programs to address specific needs of gifted students and English Learners. Each school maintains a 1.0–1.5 full time positions to support intervention needs for all students. Each student in grades 3-6 has 1:1 access to Chromebooks. Shift is 6:30-10:30am and 12:30-4:30pm. Under the direction of the assigned supervisor(s), operate a school bus to transport students safely and efficiently to and from school on a designated route; drive students, faculty, staff, and parents to and from field trips and other activities; conduct daily safety inspections; supervise and monitor student behavior, e.g., on busses, at bus stops, at school gates, in parking lot, and on playground; perform a variety of routine clerical duties in support of assigned students.
