Job Summary
Under the direction of the Administrative Director Food Services and guidance of the Kitchen Manager, perform large-quantity cooking in the preparation of foods such as main dishes, vegetables, fruits and salads in a production kitchen environment; maintain kitchen facilities, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition.

Hours: 5.0 hours/6:30 am - 11:30 am
5 days/week, Monday - Friday
9.5 months/year
Sick leave and vacation are earned at a rate of one day per month. School employees must join the State School Employees Retirement System.
California School Employees Association Agreement Article VI, 6.1.3 states: “Voluntary transfer/promotion requests by an employee for an opening shall be given prior consideration over a new employee.” Article VI, 6.3.2 states: “When a new position is created or an existing position becomes vacant, the District shall first offer the opportunity to transfer or to seek promotion to bargaining unit employees.”
All applicants must possess the personal qualifications generally recognized as essential to become an understanding public employee including integrity, initiative, dependability, courtesy, good judgment, and ability to work with others.
