CLASSIFIED SUBSTITUTES MAY NOT WORK OVER EIGHT (8) HOURS PER DAY, UNLESS PRIOR APPROVAL IS RECEIVED FROM HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT.

EFFECTIVE 7/1/2004: Permanent Classified employees substituting in positions outside of their classification will receive the step 1 rate of pay for the position in which they are covering. When substituting for positions within their

classification, they will receive their regular hourly rate of pay. (EC 45102)

To be considered for a substitute position you will need to apply online by clicking below. After you apply your application will be reviewed. If you are selected to move on in the process, you will be notified through email. If you are successful with the job hiring process, you will be required to attend a Substitute Orientation which lasts approximately 1 1/2 hours. Documents required to complete the Substitute new hire process to be turned in at the Substitute Orientation: Drivers License - 2 Copies Social Security Card - 2 Copies TB Test or Chest X Ray - 1 Copy Fingerprinting will be required. Costs range from $64 - $69 depending on which you require. You will be given fingerprint information upon invitation to our Substitute Orientation. After the Substitute Orientation you will be required to complete an Online Safety Training course.
