THE POSITION: The Coordinator I, Educational Technology role involves being a proactive resource for educators, school leaders, and other district stakeholders to amplify the integration of technology in teaching. The Coordinator I will be instrumental in devising and executing professional development related to educational technology applications, content development, and online tool utilization. With a focus on enriching digital literacy, the Coordinator I will work closely with educators to create digital tools and content, delivering training on applications and fostering the development of instructional resources tailored for both online and classroom environments. This position will also encompass the evaluation of educational products, guiding districts in technology adoption, and assisting in grant-related activities, from ideation to implementation and compliance reporting.

Requirements / Qualifications

EXPERIENCE: Five or more years of comprehensive and progressive educational consultation experience and/or classroom teaching experience. Experience with computer science, esports, artificial intelligence, and/or coding is preferred. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in educational technology, learning technology, instructional design, liberal arts, curriculum and instruction, or a closely related field by one of the six regional accreditation associations as recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE: • Possess and maintain a valid California Teaching Credential (elementary or secondary)
