REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE: • Graduation from high school or its equivalent, supplemented by college level coursework or training in business administration or related courses. • Five years of increasingly responsible administrative support experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. • Knowledge of applicable sections of the State Education Code and other equal employment opportunity laws and regulations • Knowledge of District programs, policies and protocols, and collective bargaining procedures. • Knowledge of record keeping, filing, purchasing, and accounting procedures. • Knowledge of office administration practices, procedures, and communications methods. • Ability to interpret, explain, and apply District policies, procedures, and collective bargaining contracts. • Ability to operate a computer and use accounting, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications programs. • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines. • Ability to perform complex and responsible secretarial duties requiring confidentiality, independent judgment, and analysis. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and others encountered in the course of work.
