Substitute Position for 2024-2025 school year Qualifications: Education, Training and Experience: • High school graduate with a grade point average of 3.0 or above; previous completion of a high school advanced placement course or college prep course; currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution of high education, or teacher credentialing program. • Must have strong Math and English background, evidenced by college transcript. • Must attend required AVID tutor training. To Apply: Complete and submit EdJoin application. To be considered, the following documents must be attached to you application. We will not accept any required materials on or before the day of testing at the District Office. Failure to attach all required documents will result in being screened out. Required Documents • Proof of HS Graduation: Diploma or Equivalent (transcripts in lieu of certificate/diploma ok) • Two Letters of Recommendation (desired) • Unofficial college transcripts: Currently enrolled at a college or university and in good standing (Required)

Fingerprint Check State law requires all employees to be fingerprinted for the purpose of a confidential background investigation. Fingerprinting is done by the district office at applicant's expense. A $32 Money Order will be due on day of appointment. Tuberculosis Report Per Education Code 49407, all employees (substitute and regular employees) must also submit a current clear TB report prior to first day of employment. After applying for a position, all applicants should check their e-mail regularly for the status of their application. The district is not responsible for e-mails that may be delivered into an applicant’s junk/spam mailbox.
