We have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Temporary Library Science Instructor (Librarian) located at our campus in Menifee, CA. This is a full-time temporary non-teaching academic position. An ideal candidate will be skilled in generating student engagement in learning and creating a welcoming and equity-based learning environment. Faculty librarians are responsible for the planning, organization and coordination of the District Libraries. They ensure the quality of the library and its collections effectively meet the needs of the college community. Librarians are expected to participate in college governance through Academic Senate appointments to standing councils, committees, and/or a variety of task forces. Work assignments may include a mixture of day, evening, and multi-campus hours.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. A Master's degree in library science or library and information science; (attach transcript) OR 2. The equivalent; AND 3. Have taught in the discipline or provided service in the area during the last three (3) semesters; AND 4.
