EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred, from a accredited institution and experience in leadership position in education. At least five years' teaching or related experience. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE: • Strong planning and organizational skills • Ability to plan, prepare, coordinate and facilitate pertinent professional development opportunities for various audiences – teachers, admin, support staff as well as parents and community • Ability to multitask and work under pressure • Experience in instructional settings with EL students • Strong curriculum and instruction background and understanding of CCSS, ELA and ELD standards • Strong writing skills • Bilingual/biliterate desirable
