Job Summary
Under the direction of the district and county office of education nursing staff, the District Health Assistant performs routine healthcare procedures, administers first aid, dispenses medication and screens ill or injured students. This role performs a variety of clerical duties to support the school office operation as well as assists in maintaining student immunization and health information, records, and files.
