Job Summary
Foothill Technology High School Principal (FTHS) was established as a magnet high school during the 2000-2001 school year by the Ventura Unified School District. At FTHS, technology is integrated into a college prep/AP high school curriculum focused on the career pathways of health sciences. and design technology.
Requirements / Qualifications
Successful candidates must possess the following: Administrative Services Credential Master’s degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Educational Administration or related field(s) Previous experience in school administration preferred Five (5) years of successful teaching experience; ; previous principal experience preferred Demonstration of expertise in the area of curriculum and instruction Experience working with a variety of agencies and other community resources involved with students and families Successful experience working with a diverse student and community population Possession of personal qualities essential for leadership of faculty and student body and for development of teamwork with administrative colleagues and for confidence from the Board of Education and the community
