Job Summary
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30 pm Under the general direction of the Chief Business Officer (CBO) and in support of the educational policies and programs of the district, the Coordinator, Budget and Accounting performs professional accounting work in maintaining district records and creating reports in accordance with GAAP, directs the work of payroll and accounting technicians in implementing the day to day functions of the district budget, provides technical and procedural assistance to Business Office and site staff, and other job-related work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Any combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrates possession of the knowledge and abilities stated above and the ability to perform those duties. BA degree in Business, preferably with emphasis in accounting, or five (5) years experience in accounting with at least 2 years in school district/governmental fund accounting. Experience in income/expenditure budgets and personnel supervision, preferably in a public school district.
