IUSD has openings for Short Term Proctors to be used in administering the ELPAC (English Language Proficiency Assessment for California). There is one tentative session: Session A: July 8th through August 13th - Summer Only Session B - July 8th through June 1st - Summer and 2024-25 School Year Session C: September 1st through June 1st - Fall through the end of school year QUALIFICATIONS GUIDE State law requires test examiner to be a proficient speaker of English, with complete command of pronunciation, intonation, and fluency, as well as the ability to pronounce the full range of American English phonemes. *Experience administering the ELPAC is preferred Please review the requirements of this position in the attached job description. By submitting an application, candidates are confirming that they meet the educational and experience levels as well as any license requirements listed for this position.

All applicants are required to provide one of the following documents with a passing score in order to be considered. Please upload one of these as a ‘certificate’ on EdJoin: LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: - Proof of passage of the CBEST, or - Proof of an AA degree or higher from an accredited institution in the US or - Successful passage of the District’s Proficiency Test or - Meet cut scores for ACT or SAT (ACT-23 Math, 22 English; SAT-550 Math, 500 English). Some incumbents in this classification may be required to speak, read and write in English and a designated second language and obtain passing scores on the District’s bilingual test in a designated second language.
