Requirements / Qualifications
Valid Clear California Single Subject American Sign Language Teaching Credential preferred. Prior online teaching experience preferred. Teaching experience with 7-12 highly desirable. Experience with Charter Schools a plus.
A virtual teacher proficiency test will be administered to qualified applicants. Must upload the required documents - upload the attachment named exactly as stated (ie. Letter of Recommendation) in order to move forward in the process.

The Virtual ASL Teacher for 7-12th grade is accountable for overseeing students, handling grading tasks, collaborating with parents for goal setting, curriculum and lesson planning, assessing student learning, tracking attendance, developing portfolios, conducting assessments, managing student budgets, placing necessary purchase orders, generating report cards, assigning high school grades and units, and developing course descriptions for high school.
