We are actively seeking assessors and strong candidates that are interested and available to assess this summer at our Charlotte, NC site location. We are specifically in need of practicing educators, especially National Board-Certified Teachers (NBCTs), and who are currently working at least half-time and have at least three years of full-time teaching/counseling experience in a PK-12 setting. National Board assessors score candidate responses to portfolio or assessment center exercises and are trained to look for evidence of a candidate's practice through the lens of the National Board standards. Assessors are compensated at an hourly rate of $25 for all training and scoring activities, and the regular work hours are 8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, for the duration of the project.
