Job Summary

Job Summary

The Army JROTC Instructor is responsible for assisting in coordinating with school officials and District JROTC personnel to establish procedures relating to the administration, control, and education of students enrolled in the JROTC program. Assists the Senior Army Instructor (SAI) in managing and implementing the overall JROTC unit program according to national, state, and district standards. Promotes cadet intellectual, social, patriotic, character education, and physical growth. Responsible for implementing the Army's national education curriculum and program requirements to include the preparation, planning, coordination, and supervision of all co-curricular service learning, special activities or events (community service projects, military ball, drill meets, honor guards, and other activities).

Requirements / Qualifications

• All applicants must be fully certified by U.S. Army Cadet Command (USACC) to teach JROTC • Applicants must currently be teaching an Army JROTC course or possess an Initial Certification letter from USACC • All applicants must be eligible for a CNACI background check • Possess or in the process of completing a Designated Subjects Special Teaching Credential (CL-699)
