Job Title: .40 FTE Speech Pathologist (Elementary School) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our elementary school team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop communication skills, overcome speech and language disorders, and achieve academic success. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide individualized therapy plans and support students in reaching their full potential. Responsibilities: Conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities. Developing and implementing personalized therapy plans to address communication disorders. Providing direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust therapy goals as needed. Conducting screenings and consultations to identify students in need of speech and language support. Maintaining accurate records of student progress and communication with stakeholders. Participating in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contributing to the development of student goals. Keeping up-to-date with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications: Bachelors or higher California Speech & Language Credential or License Required State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual student needs. Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and technology used in speech-language therapy.
