Job Summary

Job Summary

Tulare City Schools is now accepting applications for an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher On Assignment for the 24/25 School Year. Under the supervision of the Director I (Special Education & Psychological Services) and Preschool Coordinator, serves as the program manager for special education services of preschool students. Assesses students as part of the transition services from IDEA Part B to Part C, and other assessments needs of preschool age students. Holds IEPs, and assists in implementing IEP services within the preschool setting. In addition, serves as behavioral support for students in the preschool and transitional kindergarten through first grade Special Day Classes, by coaching teachers on whole-class classroom management and routines. Assist in the process of students transitioning from preschool to transitional kindergarten/kindergarten by making placement and services recommendations and coordinating services with the receiving sites. Work year is 185 days per year, 7 hours per day. Salary range $66,309 - $119,399 per year plus applicable fringe benefits.
