We are a small, public school district serving under 500 total students in grades TK-8. Our boundaries encompass parts of the cities of Brisbane, Daly City, and South San Francisco in northern San Mateo County.

Job Summary

2024 Extended School Year: The Brisbane School District seeks one (1) certificated teachers for the 2024 Extended School Year Program. Classes anticipated to be held in-person on the Brisbane Elementary School campus, beginning Monday, June 17 and ending Friday, July 12, 2024 (no school on June 19 or July 4). Hours of Employment: 8:15am to 11:45am, with instruction beginning at 8:30am through 11:30am. The program will serve special education students in grades 3rd-6th. ESY classes focus on activities in support of student IEPs. A Special Education credential is not required for ESY; any California teaching credential or permit is sufficient. Salary: All summer teaching positions are paid at the rate of $3,500.00 for the program.

Applicant must have or be immediately eligible for the California teaching credential or intern teaching credential. - Authorization to teach English-language learners - Resume (A resume provides so much more detail than the EdJoin form.) - Letter of Introduction (Please tell us about your philosophy of teaching.) - Transcripts - 3 references - 3 letters of recommendation Individuals must be authorized or eligible to teach in California. Please submit a copy of your valid CA multiple subjects teaching credential or documents that show your immediate eligibility for a CA teaching credential. The District welcomes University Interns. All applicants must have the authorization to teach English language learners
