Job Summary

Job Summary

Provides consultative and direct support to students with disabilities and to students in the general education setting. Creates behavior management plans, implements interventions, and provides related services to various stakeholders. Using evidence-based practices, assesses, collects data, recommends interventions, and monitors behavior to foster positive outcomes. Actively contributes to program development and conducts Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develops Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Provides training to staff on instructional and behavioral management strategies.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A Master’s degree from an accredited university is recommended. A minimum of two year’s experience designing and implementing positive behavior implementation plans for students with disabilities. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Behavior Specialist Certification are preferred. Valid California Driver’s License.
