Location: Calexico High School POS 95 Schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. - 3.8 hours Location: Enrique Camarena Jr. High School POS 98 Schedule: 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday - 3.8 hours Location: Calexico High School - 9th Grade Campus POS 106 Schedule: 1:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. - 3.75 hours Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, patrol and monitor an assigned school campus; maintain order, safety and security; assure student compliance with school and District policies and regulations; prepare incident reports.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES NEED THE FOLLOWING: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver's license. Some positions in this classification may be required to speak, read or write in a designated second language. Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates. Incumbents must obtain SB1626 training within the District’s designated probationary period. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing or sitting for extended periods of time. Walking or running over uneven surfaces. Climbing stairs. Seeing to monitor student behavior and assigned campus areas. Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person or on the two-way radio.
ELIGIBILITY LIST: An eligibility list will be created from this recruitment and will be good for one year or until the list is exhausted. It will be used as follows: 1. To fill the current vacancy and future permanent vacancies which may occur during the life of the eligibility list; 2. To create a list of substitutes for the current class. Substitutes work on an as-needed basis to fill in for absent employees. Request to Transfer will be accepted from current permanent employees holding the same classification. Form needs to be completed and submitted to the Personnel Commission by 5:00 pm the day of the deadline. Forms may be downloaded at ( https://www2.cusdk12.org/nsite/? p=1553 ). It is recommended that a Request to Transfer form includes the information you want the interview panel to consider. Some of the recommended documents are: Resume and/or Letters of Reference.

Applicants who meet the minimum requirements and whose application was complete at the time the recruitment closed will move forward to the following examination process:
Examination Process- A multiple choice exam will be administered to evaluate the applicant's job-related knowledge. The exam consists of different categories such as grammar, spelling, punctuation, basic math, reading comprehension, safety, principles, and/or practices of the trade or profession. The weight of this exam is 100%. The date of the multiple choice exam is TBD. Applicants need to achieve a minimum passing score of 70%. Eligible applicants will be notified via email to the email address listed in their Edjoin application of the date of the exam.
Applicants who score at least a 70% in the Multiple Choice Exam will be placed on an eligibility list (good for up to one year) in rank order of their examination score. Interviews are made from the top three ranks from a promotional eligibility list (current employees). If less than three ranks of promotional applicants are available, the remaining rank(s) will be obtained from the open eligibility list (outside applicants).
If fewer than three ranks are available for certifications a new examination/recruitment may be requested and conducted. Merit Rule 50.200.4 (B).
Please note that if a new recruitment is requested and conducted, you will maintain your examination score from the oral examination however, your rank may change as a result of subsequent recruitments. The scores of new eligible applicants from the subsequent recruitments will be merged with the initial eligibility list.
