Job Summary

Job Summary

Under supervision of the Coordinator III- Expanded Learning, the Project Facilitator–STEAM & Expanded Learning will provide assistance and implementation support for projects developed by the STEAM and Expanded Learning department.

Requirements / Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience providing clerical and technical assistance and support preferably for STEAM and expanded learning programs. One year of paid or volunteer experience working with children. Experience in establishing and maintaining grant evaluation/data collection or similar data collection and reporting. Education: Associate’s degree or 60 or more units required. Attach any documents that you feel will help demonstrate that you meet the minimum qualifications listed above (i.e. resume, transcript, diploma, resume). Documents you wish to attach should be uploaded via EDJOIN by the filing deadline in order to be considered in the hiring process (pertains to current employees also). A scanner to upload required documents is available in the Human Resources office located at 1330 Truxtun Ave., Bakersfield, CA 93301. • The documents will be scanned and emailed to the candidate. Candidates achieving a rating of 70% or better will qualify to continue in the eligibility screening process. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operator’s license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act. This position is specially funded for a duration of two years. Continuation of this position beyond the designated period is contingent on funding from CDPH Personal Responsibility Education/ Information & Health Education Programs.
