The Academic Counselor will have the following desired attributes to ensure that a positive climate and culture is cultivated:
Prior experience with master scheduling
Prior experience as a participant during Student Support Team (SST), 504, and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Meetings
Prior experience facilitating 8th Grade Visit Meetings
Have an understanding of academic interventions and strategies
Demonstrated knowledge of the ASCA MTMDSS Model
Ability to assist in planning and execute MHS Welcome Activities
